BCCA Webserver Tournament

Internet based Correspondence Chess. All your games are hosted on the ICCF Webserver where you will be allocated your personalised number and password. This is the tourney for hassle-free correspondence chess. No more postal delays or letters lost in the post. Time is calculated automatically. Players start in preliminary sections with the first two in each group qualifying for a Final.

In 2005 we were pleased to announce that the October 2005 AGM agreed to the proposal that the Association should commence webserver-based tournaments with immediate effect. The Executive Committee strongly believes this decision presents a tremendous opportunity for the BCCA to embrace new technology and make the Association more accessible to new members, particularly of the younger generation.

Games in these tournaments are played on the ICCF Webserver with a Time Control of 10/40 with 30 days calendar leave per year. The games can be viewed "live" (with a 3 move delay) by the general public on the ICCF Webserver at http://www.iccf-webchess.com/

Click on "Tables and Results - National Federation Events - England - BFCC". By clicking on whichever crosstable you wish to view, there is a blue button in the centre of every square on the crosstable. By clicking on this button, a board will display with the current position of that particular game.

How to enter our webserver tournaments

Please contact the Webserver Tournament Controller, quoting your ICCF number if you have one, and nationality if not English. All entries will be acknowledged.
